The 5 year, $2.5 million grant from the National Institute for General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) will fund three project areas within the lab to develop molecular, microfluidic, and computational tools to advance understanding of the role of fluid transport in regulating biological processes. The results will inform development of interventional approaches for diseases including cardiovascular disease and cancer.
